Tanudin River Project

Location: Barlig Municipality, Mountain Province, Philippines

This is the most recent project submitted to the Renewable Energy Management Bureau. Preliminary planning and hydrologic analysis conducted by the Company showed the following salient features about the project:

  • Watershed area: 81.95 sq.km.
  • Weir site at El 1,300 meters above sea level(masl with a low 3 meters diversion weir and crest level El. 1,303 masl at coordinates
  • Long 121-08-07.258 and Lat 17-04-02.08.553
  • Headrace length is 2.353 kilometers(km)
  • Penstock length is about 218 m.
  • Powerhouse is at level 1200 masl
  • Above data will produce a gross head of 103 m.
  • Flow is about 5.5 cms
  • Power capacity is about 4 MW for 40% of time flow exceedence

 


 

Status Update

As of September 6, 2010 applications have been filed with the Department of Energy and AsiaPac is now waiting for the issuance of a pre-development service contract. The Company has been advised that there are no conflicts with other developers for this project.
