Asiapac Capital Services Ltd. is a diversified Canadian holding company that invests in early stage growth and start-up companies concentrating on the Latin American market, with particular emphasis on the Philippines. Asiapac Capital is listed on the Frankfurt stock exchange under the ticker symbol: 5AP.
The Frankfurt Stock Exchange is the world’s third largest trading center for securities and Germany’s largest exchange. It is responsible for 90 percent of the securities trading volume in Germany. The Exchange facilitates advanced electronic trading, settlement and information systems and enables cross-border trading for international investors.
The primary business at this time is GoldPatch Link International, which accounts for roughly $1 million USD in revenues annually, and employs approximately 200 people. Its facilities include a 5,000 Sq. Ft. warehouse, and offices in Manila.
The AsiaPac Information Technology currently employs approximately 20 staff, located in the Company’s head office in Manila.
Other company interests account for an additional $1 million USD in revenue from existing operations. The Company is using funds generated from continuing operations to fund the development of its other new interests in mining and renewable energy, coupled with outside capital.
The Company is also in discussions with potential joint-venture partners to develop some of its more capital intensive businesses, such as the mini-hydro power stations. Growth is also expected to come from the company’s new mining interests, particularly the coal mine, which is being developed on a small scale basis until sufficient funds are available to begin large scale mining operations. The Company also wishes to see a 200 MW coal fired generator brought online on a joint venture basis to integrate its coal mining activities
